Child Trust Fund

Withdrawal of The Co-operative Investments Child Trust Fund.

Further to the Government's announcement that they will no longer be issuing Child Trust Funds, we have agreed with our Child Trust Fund partner, The Children's Mutual, that we will withdraw the Co-operative Investments (stakeholder stocks and shares) Child Trust Fund from 31st July 2010.

Existing customers

If you already have a Child Trust Fund, you will:

  • Continue to benefit from tax efficient investment for your child
  • As of the 1st November 2011, you can contribute up to £3600 per year (birthday to birthday) to the CTF
  • Unfortunately, if your child turns 7 years old after 1st August 2010, they will not be eligible for the second £250 payment from the Government as this is no longer available.
